welcome to country meadows

Country Meadows is located in Sarasota, Florida off 17th Street, about two blocks west of Honore Avenue, abutting Chimney Creek and The Meadows.  Our Community was established in 1986 and many of our residents have lived in the community since it's inception. We have 125 homes with a very active Homeowner's Association to which membership is automatic and required. We boast mature landscaping throughout, with fifty of the homes located on a beautiful lake with an abundance of birds and wildlife. We are close to shopping and schools, with easy access to I-75. For an interactive map of the area, go to the Contact & Maps page.

This website has been established especially for our Country Meadows homeowners, their guests and potential homeowners.  You will find meeting dates and current news and events on the News & Events page. The Resources Page includes contact information for our Board of Directors, who to contact for Architectural changes, links for Sales and Rental Applications, links to our Covenants and By-Laws, and many other helpful community links. Please see detailed Estoppel Letter request information on our Resources Page.

As with most Associations, everyone has a question that needs to be answered. We've tried to address those most frequently asked questions on the FAQ page of this website. Look here first when you have a question. If you can't find the answer you're looking for, let us know! We will be happy to add it to the list for future visits to our site.

We realize that not everyone has the time to actively participate in the Association on a daily basis, so we've attempted to provide the most important information regarding your Association on this website. The site will be updated and changed to reflect the desires of the community. Feel free to Contact us at any time!

Thank you for visiting our website and come back often to get the latest news from around the Country Meadows neighborhood.

Web Accessibility Help

Country Meadows of Sarasota Homeowners Association, Inc. (“Country Meadows”)  is committed to providing an accessible website. If you have difficulty accessing content, have difficulty viewing a file on the website, or notice any accessibility problems, please contact Country Meadows to specify the nature of the accessibility issue and any assistive technology you use. Country Meadows will strive to provide the content you need in the format you require. Country Meadows welcomes your suggestions and comments about improving ongoing efforts to increase the accessibility of this website.

There are actions you can take to adjust your web browser to make your web experience more accessible. If you have trouble seeing web pages, the US Social Security Administration offers these tips(link is external) for optimizing your computer and browser to improve your online experience:

If you find a keyboard or mouse difficult to use, speech recognition software such as Dragon NaturallySpeaking(link is external) may help you navigate web pages and online services. This software allows the user to move focus around a web page or application screen through voice controls.

If you are deaf or hard of hearing, there are several accessibility features available to you:

Transcripts
A text transcript is a text equivalent of audio information that includes spoken words and non-spoken sounds such as sound effects. We do not have that capability on this website at this time but will add it when availble.

Captioning
A caption is transcript for the audio track of a video presentation that is synchronized with the video and audio tracks. Captions are generally rendered visually by being superimposed over the video, which benefits people who are deaf and hard-of-hearing, and anyone who cannot hear the audio (e.g., when in a crowded room). Most of NAR's video content includes captions. Learn how to turn captioning on and off in YouTube.(link is external)

Volume controls
Your computer, tablet, or mobile device has volume control features. Each video and audio service has its own additional volume controls. Try adjusting both your device's volume controls and your media players' volume controls to optimize your listening experience.
